This Privacy Policy explains how Men of Alliance (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide through https://alliance-discipleship.com and our text messaging program.

Information We Collect

• Contact information you submit, such as your name, email address, and mobile phone number.
• Messaging preferences and consent records, including the date, time, IP address, and the exact consent wording shown to you when you opted in to text messages.
• Ministry participation details you choose to share, such as group interest, meeting preferences, and notes you enter on our forms.
• Basic technical information such as browser type and IP address, used to secure our forms against abuse.

How We Use Your Information

• To contact you about devotional content, discipleship group updates, and reminders.
• To connect you with a discipleship group or leader when you ask us to.
• To maintain records of messaging consent as required by telecommunications regulations.
• To secure our services and prevent abuse of our forms.

Mobile Information and Text Messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

If you opt in to Alliance Discipleship Text Alerts, we use your mobile number only to send the messages you asked for. You will receive up to 31 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile service plan. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of participating in any Alliance Discipleship ministry, group, or event.

We share your mobile number with our messaging service provider (Twilio) solely to transmit those messages on our behalf. That provider is contractually restricted to processing the number for message delivery and may not use it for its own marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or consent data with anyone else.

You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You can request help by replying HELP or by emailing support@alliance-discipleship.com. Full messaging terms are in our Terms and Conditions.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

• Service providers who operate our email, messaging, and hosting infrastructure on our behalf, limited to what they need to deliver that service.
• Ministry leaders within Alliance Discipleship who are following up with you, when you have asked to be connected with a group.
• Legal compliance, where we are required by law to disclose information.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent data are excluded from all sharing, as stated above.

Data Retention

We keep contact and ministry information for as long as you remain connected with us or until you ask us to delete it. Records of text messaging consent and opt-out are retained for at least four years after you unsubscribe, because telecommunications regulations require us to be able to prove consent for that period.

Your Choices

• Reply STOP to any text to end messages immediately.
• Use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop email.
• Email privacy@alliance-discipleship.com to request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of the information we hold about you.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport, access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Our forms and messaging program are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes affecting the messaging program will be communicated before they take effect.
